The geographical glossary contains terms from the world of geography, like e.g. astronomy, soil science, geology, carthography, climatology, agriculture, animal geography, vegetation geography, geomorphology, glaciology and hydrology. At present, the database contains terms in five languages:
German,
English,
Norwegian,
Dutch and
French. French has just been added, as a consequence there are only a few terms available yet. The part of the glossary which deals with names of species, contains
Latin as an additional language.
There are ongoing added new terms to the glossary. At the moment, the glossary contains 6184 terms..
